Visited this restaurant yesterday and overall had a good time. I loved the interior vibe, and the food was great. Just a couple of small things that kinda bummed me out: 1) Service Speed: It was around 5 pm on a Monday, and there were literally only two tables occupied in the whole place (including mine). With just four people in total, taking my order and getting the food out could’ve definitely been faster. 2) Order Mix-up: Our waitress was super sweet, polite, and friendly, but she ended up messing up part of my order. I totally get it when it’s a packed, noisy Friday night and you're juggling ten tables, but when the room is almost empty on a Monday, there's not much excuse for mishearing an order. I was way too hungry to wait around for them to fix it, so I just went with it. But a quick heads-up for the future: "Please pay extra attention to the details". Not everyone is going to be as patient and forgiving. Other than those hiccups, I really enjoyed the spot and would still recommend it to friends and family. It just needs a few quick tweaks ;)

Amazing. Everything was both beautiful and delicious, with fantastic service! I highly recommend the carrot starter and the Syrian meatloaf. Don’t skip drinks and dessert!

My family and I ate dinner tonight. We were served by Jessica R. She was friendly, and an excellent server. We had the falafel appetizer, the gyros dinner plate with rice, and pita bread, the Aleppo spiced chicken sandwich with fries, the sumac salmon dinner with grilled potatoes and sweet carrots, the braised short rib with an amazing brown gravy, potatoes and sweet carrots, and ended the evening with a plate of 5 different delicious baklava. We were happy, satisfied and will be coming back again! 1000% satisfied.

Was excited to try this new place in Elgin! It’s nice to go to new restaurants and share with everyone what the experience was like so others can try it out. My friends and I came in on a weekday just a few minutes after they opened so it wasn’t busy but, because it was around lunch time it got full fast. Thankfully, we got greeted and got a table right away. Our servers we’re really nice. However, we felt like they were rushing to serve everyone, it seems like they’re understaffed and in need of more employees. The environment is pretty cozy and I like the interior. Plenty of space but maybe it can get crowded when it’s busy. For our drinks, I ordered the rose mojito which was really refreshing and minty. My friends ordered coffee and a lemonade. For our food, I ordered a chicken schawarma wrap with fries and my friends had the same thing. The fries were crispy and great as well as the dip it came with. We feel like the chicken was a little dry and needed more flavor. The brussel sprouts were so good and flavorful! I recommend them. We all loved it and would order again. Lastly, the pistachio cheesecake was the only dessert they currently have so we ordered it but we did not like
